Fair Advisory Committee (FAC)                                                                                                                                  The Washington County Fair Advisory Committee is a "NEW" committee (consists of 9 members) created in March of 2010 by the Washington County Board of Commissioners for the purpose of advising the County Commissioners as to the capital improvements to be made to the 102 acres of the Washington County Fair Complex.  This role had been previously the "Exclusive Managment" responsibility of the Fair Board as per Oregon State Statute (see ORS 565.230), however, the Board of Commissioners and the County Administration have determined that they can circumvent Oregon State Law and have done so by creating this "illegal committee", which is meant to reflect the best interest of the citizens of Washington County!

Fair Complex Revitalization Task Force
The Washingtion County Fair Complex has a New Master Plan for Development which was adopted by the Revitalization Task Force Committe which formalized that plan at the direction of the County Board of Commissioners.  This is that website's link.

Citizen Participatation Organization (CPO) No. 9                                                                                                       This volunteer group is the County's Hillsboro/Orenco Citizens Participation Organization - CPO#9, which is an open forum for citizens to participate in and discuss and learn about local land use and livablity issues for the citizens of Washington County.
